Join VA Children's Engineering to make a difference!
The Virginia Children’s Engineering Council was established to help elementary and secondary students, teachers and educators become more aware of the S.T.E.M. world around them. Over the years, many teachers have enjoyed professional development that has developed teaching strategies involving students with the engineering design process to support student success on the Virginia' Standards of Learning . This transforms teaching to a more student-centered approach that levels the playing field by addressing strengths and talents of all the individuals.
Please note an important update regarding the VCEC Spring Institute. The event originally scheduled for March 2026 has been rescheduled to February 2027 and will now be offered as a conference. This change allows us to expand the experience and provide additional opportunities for learning, collaboration, and sharing inclusive STEM practices. Updated conference dates, location, and registration details will be shared as they become available. Thank you for your continued support of VCEC and our commitment to innovative, inclusive STEM education for every student.
